I have a HUAWEI B525s-23a router running my home internet connection via the EE 4GEE mobile system.
Could somebody please advise how I can unlock the device for use on an alternative network. I am currently in the final month of an 18month pay monthly contract, so there shouldn't be any additional cost involved.
The reason for the change is that I wish to try an alternative provider as EE coverage at my home has gone DOWN from good 4G indoors and outdoors to only good outdoors. The alternative provider shows good coverage both indoors and outdoors.

If the device had been on your contract for at least 6 months, even if that contract has now been cancelled, you can just apply using the Unlocking your device form as the Pay Monthly option and giving the mobile number that it originally came with.
It will not be free until after the end of your min, term.
