You'll need to phone CS to report a landline fault.

What is the problem with it? Have you tried it from the hidden test socket & see if it goes away?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi @DH875

Thanks for coming to the community.

Our Broadband Tech team will be able to help you with your landline,  if you give us a call on 0800 079 8586. Vulnerable customers are being prioritised, but the team will be able to help you.

We’re doing everything we can to help our customers and look after the wellbeing of our people during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Our contact centres in the UK and Ireland are open to help keep you connected, but we have fewer people available to take your calls.

Thanks.

Leanne.

When you get to the correct people the service is excellent

Kind regards

I have the same question:  how do I report a fault with my landline?   At the time of writing I've had no dial tone on the landline for the last 45 minutes,  and I can't believe I'm having to go to the EE forum to figure this out.

I've tried dialling 150,  and  ( aside from the fact that they charge you for listening to what I'll charitably call recorded music for ages )  there doesn't appear to be an option in any of the interminable recorded menus for reporting landline faults;   at least,  none that I can find.    You can't report landline faults online,  of course,  so 150 seems to be the only show in town,  but is there some secret to navigating your way through the recorded menus,  or at least making sure you get through to the right person when you do eventually speak to a human being?
