Hi there!
I just bought an unlimited data SIM to use as a portable WiFi in my house (since my family's own wifi isn't quite fast enough for what I want to use it for, plus it tends to be finicky for everybody if somebody i.e. me is doing something intensive on it), but for some reason the website would not allow me to purchase a router AND the SIM in one go, so as far as I can tell I've only bought a SIM.
How do I go about purchasing a router through the website now, as it apparently won't allow me to purchase one without also purchasing a plan, which defeats the point. Am I being thick and missing something?
Also second question - I've been told on the website that I need to call in to "discuss my order" after finishing it, but I can't get through as the lines are busy - is this a requirement before the order will fully complete? I've logged into My EE on both the website and my phone and all I can see in there is my existing phone contract and the addition I made for my smart watch, but no trace of the data SIM I just purchased even though I purchased it while logged into my existing account and it should have added into that existing account record.

@AlexLeo EE only sell routers with a contract or on PAYG you can not purchase one without a sim.
If you’ve been asked to call customer services about your order then you have to call as your order will
not go through until you do.
