I have the EE Smart Router from 2020 with Fibre Connection - Fibre Broadband (G.fast)
I currently use a pfSense Router for my main router, and I have the dreaded double NAT in my setup which I'd like to get rid of.
I bought this one before - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F9E5LQA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But couldn't get it to work.. I believe I need a modem that supports VDSL2 but not 100% on that. Can anyone recommend a modem to use with EE Smart Router Fibre? Thanks

In your first sentence you say you have G.Fast, yet you talk about a VDSL modem, not sure why.
If you are on G.Fast, you will need a G.Fast modem - I think Draytek do one, the Vigor 166 i believe.

Tbh I didn’t know G.Fast was a thing but I think I probably answered my own question as I was crafting my post. I was looking at the Vigor 166, it’s not out yet tho no?
