Trying to connect my phone to charge and it come up with an error message to say that there has been water detected in my lightning connector and charging will damage my phone. Do I need to claim for a new phone on my insurance or will this problem resolve itself?

@Louisechristine   The device has detected water in the lightning port you need to make sure it is dry before you put the device on charge.  This was a a safety feature and there is nothing wrong with the device.
