Hello,
I input the PAC code when ordering the sim from EE, how can I tell my number has been transferred, please? As I don't want to be paying for two contracts and I'm uneasy cancelling my one from O2 just in case it cancels my number also!

Hello @Triptych and welcome to the community
The use of a PAC will itself cancel your existing contract with your previous provider, so there is no need to worry about that. If you were to cancel your previous contract, this would invalidate the PAC.
Your contract with your previous provider will be cancelled on the same day as the number transfers, that's the point of the PAC process 🙂
There isn't any account access on this public forum, so if you want to check when your number is due to port I'd recommend calling EE C/S on 150.

Hey @bristolian,
Looks like something weird happened between O2 and EE, as when I tried to log in to my O2 account to see if I'm being charged it said it would have to send a code to my mobile. I then suddenly had a stream of text messages from all the missed calls and texts I haven't had since I switched at the end of September.
No idea what happened here, but O2 doesn't recognise my number as being part of them anymore so I'm guessing it's done.

Reboot your EE phone and try a few test calls 😉

I did quite a few reboots when I first put in the SIM card and making calls was never an issue! Just receiving them and texts apparently.
I must have missed an extra reboot step or something!
Thanks for the help.
