Hi All,
I recently upgraded to a Google Pixel 3 XL (64gb - black) and was told by three different members of staff that the new phone would arrive with me on November 1st, but today I was told by a different EE Rep that I should expect to receive my new phone in 14 days..
Is this because the UK release is delayed or something? Or am I just being told false information and being messed about?

Yes, you're right! I was absolutely looking in the wrong section! I might not be able to wait that long, but yes the option is there, thank you.
Am I right in presuming that at this point I can't switch to delivery-to-store?

@James_B I'm having the weirdest text messages from EE this afternoon, is this to do with my upcoming new contract?

Ok yes it is to do with my new contract. Nice EE, my new contract starts today without me actually having the new phone. So I've got my old phone on a new contract at the moment.

Just got my update via email and the tracking app (24 hours after posting a huge moan on here!) saying it's going to be with me on Monday. I'll pop back and let you know - it's not a done deal until it's in my hand!

I concur @Jamie5358. Although having received an email from DPD also confirming delivery on Monday and from ee too, am a little more confident than previously, that many of us will soon be in receipt of our very black XL 128gb handset, sooner rather than later.

I haven't received a text regarding my pixel 3 XL arriving Monday 😞
This fustrating because I've never before had an issue with EE, in fact I've always recommended them but I just feel like I've been put to the side here

Like other people I've had an email saying that my phone will be arriving on Monday. I've also received text messages saying that my new contract has started (and I started using my byt sports that I have with my new contract). This is all slightly annoying as my contract has started and I don't have my phone.
The things that really gets me though is that I spoke to ee this morning and they had no clue what was going on and couldn't give me any idea when my phone would be arriving.
I even said it will be next year before I get my phone at this rate and the ee rep didn't try and reassure me that it would be soon .
This whole experience has been a total joke and no one seems to have a clue what is going on.
It wouldn't at all suprise me if no body ordered the phones from Google in the first place.

Yes, the system will activate your new plan when your phone is dispatched.

@GavinItLarge - Collect in store has to be selected when you first place your order.
I hope you are able to arrange a suitable delivery slot.
