Good morning, I am new to the community and I hope you can help me. I bought my galaxy watch 3 because I thought it would be great to have it as a mobile hotspot. However, upon setting it up there is no option to turn it into a hotspot (turning my watch into a router). I work a lot outside. Because I couldn't use the data that way I thought I could share it to my phone then use that as a mobile hotspot but I can't do that either because the number of the watch doesn't show in the share list. Is there a way I can do this or have I just wasted my money on an expensive watch that I didn't need as my phone does it all?

@Janetfl1 Mobile watches cannot be used as hotspots. And it’s never been possible to gift data to or from a cellular watch

Hi @Janetfl1
Have you tried one of the thousands of videos and guides on Google to establish if the service activates?
I don't have this watch, but I would suggest you would be wasting your time using your watch as a hotspot because the battery won't last very long.
Thanks
