Its common knowledge that carers in care homes looking after old people with COVID 19 are more at risk of getting infected that NHS staff who have their proper PPE. Do they get a look in or is it just all about NHS staff? As usual, carers are treated as the poor second cousins of NHS. Fabulous job that nurses in hospitals are doing however without the excellent care provided by carers in residential and nursing homes many thousands of residents would die. Do they get a look in?

Do you have a NHS email address with your name attached to it

sorry I don't understand the relevance of your question. I am not talking about me

Only if they have a NHS email address with their name attached to it, there is a lot of NHS staff that are not entitled to a NHS email address, eg cleaners, porters, maintenance workers.., so they cannot claim for the free data, same as you say, the lower class staff or cousins do not qualify, it seems to be a bit of a con to me

@Excalibur12 NHS workers are registered via a NHS email address as they receive a discount on their contracts. The unlimited data offer is only available to those who have a registered NHS email on there account that entitles them to this offer. Your not the first to see if this is possible for carers. My daughter and my better half are both carers and unfortunately they are not entitled to this offer.

Not all NHS workers are entitled to personal email addresses, eg cleaners, porters, maintenance workers

@Crich If your reply was to me you didn’t read what I put.
“The unlimited data offer is only available to those who have a registered NHS email on there account that entitles them to this offer.”
no one said anything about all NHS workers.

The EE advert says that EE is there for NHS workers, does that mean the elite who have email addresses, and the lower class workers don't get a look in

I suspect whatever criteria EE chose to use for this offer, there would have been some customers who - unfortunately - would have fallen foul of it.

EE need to change the advert then, as NOT all NHS staff are entitled to the free data....this could be classed as discrimination....I hope an EE customer service worker is reading this and can comment
