Its common knowledge that carers in care homes looking after old people with COVID 19 are more at risk of getting infected that NHS staff who have their proper PPE. Do they get a look in or is it just all about NHS staff? As usual, carers are treated as the poor second cousins of NHS. Fabulous job that nurses in hospitals are doing however without the excellent care provided by carers in residential and nursing homes many thousands of residents would die. Do they get a look in?

I agree we don’t get a second look, would be nice to be offered same as nhs as we work just as hard.

@Fluttaby68 It’s NHS as NHS customers have to register with their NHS email address. You might work in the care sector as do many but unless you have a NHS email address that is registered when you setup an EE account you’ll not get anything. How are EE meant to monitor/check who would be eligible for any sort of discount/free offer without causing more work for themselves. I know my other half and my daughter don’t have a email address supplied via the care company they work for.

Yes I know this, I’m saying we as carers don’t get offers, would be nice if we did that’s what my point is. Just saying.
