Is there anyone out there that uses the internet on their phone to do genealogy aka family history? Its a really good hobby and I use Ancestry, Genes Reunited and Geni.com. My DNA ancestry is also on Ancestry and 23andme.

I would love to, @rastaman84, I just don't have the patience. I love watching Who Do You Think You Are. If I ever win the lottery, I'd pay for someone to research my family for me. 😄

Hiring a professional researcher is not that expensive, though they charge by the hour, they do a great job. I have used one to trace one of my lines back to King John of England my 24th great grandfather. The charges researchers charge varies. The one I used charged me 20 quid an hour but it was worth it.

I too have roots going back to Saxon times. Are you a descendant of Alfred the great King of Wessex? One of my lines goes back to him, right back to Cerdic. William the conqueror is my 30th great grandfather.
