Failing for weeks now

hi there

 

i'm trying to get myself an extra SIM only plan

 

am i not allowed it?

 

i've tried the app, i've tried 2 browsers. no luck

 

what am i doing wrong?

i can't see any deals as that message keeps popping out

How long have you been a customer? If you are a new customer, EE may have determined you can't add an additional line yet, based on their internal credit scoring.  Have you tried calling EE and seeing what they can do?

3months+ with this contract (upgrade) and 4 years+ the one before this

Have you considered opening an online chat to request the SIM only plan you want?

 

The shop functionality has been broken for me since I joined roughly two months ago (I'm not claiming it is broken for anyone else) but I was offered an Additional Line in chat at a discount of 12% on top of the 10% for existing customer (percentages of small numbers) so you could request they check with their team leader on whether you can have a discount on top of the standard customer discount.

 

I suspect the broken functionality is because I'm not yet eligible for an upgrade on my contact but the broken functionality means I cannot add any new contract or a cheap and cheerful Additional Line (which may be a good choice just for receiving gifted data).

thanks but live chat hasn't worked for me since i've upgraded

What happens when you try the live chat on the get in touch page?

 

There are some other options to speak to our Mobile Care team on there too. Once you get through, I'm sure they'll be able to help you.
