Extend ring time on LANDLINE

Hi
I’ve searched and can’t find how to do this. Everything I find is for a mobile
im disabled and can’t get to the phone quick to answer before the answerphone kicks in

If you are talking about:
- Ring Time before going to your own in-house ansaphone, that will be a setting on your ansaphone.
- Ring Time before going to 1571 Voicemail, dial 1571>2>3>2>3 for a long ring.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

how do I input the numbers? I tried doing 1571 then other numbers and dial the whole number

Just dial 1571 & follow the instructions. I've given the option nos. to guide you. They stand for : Personal Options (2) > Calling Options (3) > To change ring period (2) > Long Ring Period (3).

When I call 1571 she’s just says you have no messages goodbye and hangs up

EE's free 1571 service does not allow the options @XRaySpeX has mentioned. I believe other providers offer a paid service that can include extra functionality.
You could try calling CS they may have an option to extend the time.
