I have an old EE Harrier that will not turn on. It got this way after a software upgrade and has been unuseable since. When I have the charger plugged in the red light flashes 9 times, about once a second, then a 2 second pause with the light off, then on solidly for 4 seconds (timings approximate!). The screen remains black whaever I do, and following the normal reset procedure (press power and vol control) merely changes the amount of flashes.
If its not plugged into the mains, there is no life at all.
The battery was fine prior to the software upgrade, but its certainly become dis charged since then.
Is there any way I can revive this phone?

Hi @haons.
Can you try holding the power button for around 15 seconds when the phone is connected to the power?

hat - nothing changes. The red light stops flashing for a bit and then restarts. I've tried holding down either and/or both buttons for extended periods, and nothing seems to make anything happen except changes in the way the light flashes - the screen remains blank.

Thanks for trying that, @haons.
I can't find any way of resetting the phone back to factory settings when the screen isn't coming on.
I'd suggest speaking to our technical support team to see if there's anything they can do to help.
