EE 4GEE WIFI MINI

Nicxlesmith
Visitor

If I get a 4gee WiFi mini box as an add on to my contract, with the 50gb a month allowance, will my phone data be affected by other people using the WiFi? And vice versa? If I use my phone data will it affect the WiFi data allowance. Also how long would this last if connected to a games console? TIA

No, they are individual allowances unless you choose to gift data between them.

The Router comes with a separate sim so it is independent from your phone.  Any wifi used will be from the router.

To be honest 50GB isn't very much.  We don't stream much, mostly Zoom meetings and the odd video and we used 97GB last month (we have a 4GEE router).

Be aware that the wifi mini is designed to be portable - it does shut down into standby after a certain length of time to preserve battery life.  Hope that helps.
