Bear with me, this could get confusing!
I'm due for an upgrade, i didnt want or need a new phone so opted for a sim only 24m contract. All sorted there. No issues. However, i thought instead of a new phone I'd like the new galaxy watch 4g. Ordered on the live chat, got the confirmation email, great!
Now, on an unrelated call to 150 they tell me i was nit approved for a second line for the watch and i wouldn't be getting it. Ok fine. Then yesterday i received a text from ee to say the watch was out of stock. I ignore it thinking it was just a generated text as the lady i spoke to was adamant it had been declined and i wouldnt be getting a watch. So today, i again call 150 on a query with my sim plan (again no issues there) and i casually ask about this text i received about the watch. This guy is adamant in getting the watch (apparently shouldn't be) but is absolutely adamant that it winging its way to me when its in stock.
So now I'm confused! Is it worth me getting a 3rd person to check? Or is ee likely to be sending me the watch, with no line and me paying the agreed contract price but not being able to use it as a 4g?
Anyone else had this?
