Delivery Information by Email?

My current phone recently broke, so I ordered a new pay as you go phone from EE. I got an email stating I would receive a delivery update by text. However, I an unable to check my texts because my phone is broken. Is it possible to send the delivery update by email?

@XRaySpeX since when is DPD communications? Their rules don't apply to Posta Services.

DPD do offer notification by email and also have an app which will enable you to track the van and give you a fifteen minute warning.
I know that Three and Carphone Warehouse certainly use this system.
I know that for contract handsets EE use an older service but don't know what they use for PAYG.
