I Have recently dropped my iPhone in the toilet it has totally blown up but I have no insurance to replace it and have to wait a long time for upgrade and in the meantime I have to use a low grade phone. Is there anyway of getting ee to give me another phone before early upgrade?

Hello @Dyonysis ,
Welcome to the community,
Have you tried leaving the phone to dry and then see if it will charge up? I had one, a different make and managed to get it working.
If you wanted an early upgrade, you would have to pay off your contract, that is month left times amount minus 20%, or buy one elsewhere either second hand/refurbished or new, and continue with your contract. EE will not give you a phone, not sure why you think they would.

You would have needed AppleCare or other insurance in place before the accidental damage if that's the way you wanted to go. https://www.apple.com/uk/support/products/iphone/
You may want to check whether your model is supposed to be waterproof and claim under the warranty if it does not meet the advertised abilities.
You could check if you pay for any premium bank product that provides insurance for a phone without requiring registration. It's possible you may have gadget insurance if you have home contents insurance. Good luck! 🤓
Edit: for completeness, certain credit cards come with a certain amount of insurance for accidental damage which is another reason that my personal recommendation is to purchase devices separately unless some part of the cost can be put on the credit card to benefit from the automatic insurance (T&Cs apply regarding how much of the cost needs to be on the credit card). https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/security/purchase-protection/index.html
