In Belize at the moment normally I use a local SIM but needed to see some txts sent to my UK number, ensured data was turned off and I was connected to the WIFI. After about 10mins I received a message saying all my data had been used up. I have a 10gb contract and I haven’t used my UK sim in about two months. Any help as I return to the uk later this month. Again Mobile data was turned off and I was connected to WIFI yet all data went. Kind regards will

@Williamwp89 You can not use your tariff allowance there. You’ll have to purchase a data add to have data.

Hi @Williamwp89
Thanks for coming to the community.
As @Chris_B has advised you would need to purchase a data add-on to use data in Belize, you can view available data add-ons and how much data is remaining from your allowance for when you return to the UK by visiting add-on.ee.co.uk
Thanks.
Leanne.

Ok so when I land back in the UK I will still have my contracted amount of data on my EE Sim despite the txt message saying I have used all my data??

If you haven't used the full allowance when in the UK (before you travelled to Belize), or if you've had a billing date since you've been away, you should still have a data allowance when you return, @Williamwp89.
