How the hell do I change the number on my account to use my new number these ee services are awful nothing is easy

@Profile closed   Why do you have a new number ?   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

If so, did you have your My EE account set up with your temporary EE number?

I honestly don't know what's happened my old ee number was an old style phone the sim didn't fit this new one I put on credit and it went to the old number I've tried to transfer the old number to this and cant do it tried to add my new number to this account but it says it's already registered on another account but I don't know what that is so I have no number I cant use the phone because I cant add credit do I just buy another sim card and try to re register wit that
