Christmas Double Data Offer

Hi

Does anyone know if the new double data offer will apply to packs bought with an existing PAYG sim?  The T&Cs seem to suggest they would, but when I click 'change pack' in the app, only the normal data is shown, not the double amounts.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there @user-71

Thanks for posting on the community.

If this is not showing as an available pack, the offer will only be available if you order a new SIM card with a new number and select this pack when you place the order.

Thanks.

Leanne.

Thanks for your reply.  Do you know why that is as it appears out of line with the terms and conditions?  Is it to do with me using a £30 pack at the moment?

@user-71  It does also say you must activate your sim within 7 days of purchase.    So it’s a new new purchase of a sim.  It doesn’t says it’s available to existing customers.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Thanks. Strictly it doesn't say it must be a new SIM (ie I did activate my simSIM within 7 days etc...). I thought previous summer and winter offers had included existing customers. It's not a problem, I will get a new SIM instead but it would be greener to use an existing one (and cheaper for EE I'm sure).

Yes, you're right! As stated that offer should apply to existing SIMs & Packs. I think they are meaning to say "When you purchase a new PAYG SIM with an eligible Pay As You Go (“PAYG”) Pack",

I note that such new PAYG SIMs haven't yet gone on sale in the EE Shop.

@user-71  It’s called an promotional offer to entice new customers.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

You can see the offer at https://shop.ee.co.uk/sim-only/pay-as-you-go-phones - I think you might need to be logged out to see them.
