Cant register as PAYG

I keep getting this message trying to register my sim!Sorry, you can only associate a number for an EE Consumer or Small Business plan. If you're having trouble, call 150 from your EE phone.

Same problem here.  I've bought both my children Smartwatches for Xmas and had to buy sim cards for each.  I bought an EE card for one and Giffgaff for the other.  I've successfully setup the giffgaff within minutes but I'm getting this error with EE 😞

And it's Xmas day so I don't want to be phoning EE 😞  Isn't there a quick way I can sort it out online?  So disappointing because I've been with EE/T-mobile forever, but can't add it to my account and it didn't work when I created a new account either.

You can't add a PAYG no. to an existing contract MyEE account. 

 

Did you try setting up a new account with a different email?

 

Have you topped the SIM up?

It didn't work when I set up a new account. Also I phoned 150 and it said it only tops up UK numbers. I bought it from amazon. Title said "EE Mobile Sim Pay As You Go Standard & Micro, Nano sim card UK" but packaging says international 🤷‍♀️ I've now ordered another giffgaff sim because I don't seem able to do anything with this sim.
