Swapped broadband over as out of my contract but still getting billed. And I spoke to them last week via phone! Is there online chat as can’t be bothered to wait in queue

There is no Live Chat for BB.
What did you swap broadband over to? Did you migrate the BB at your premises to another ISP? If so, that should have auto cancelled your EE BB contract, unless you moved to VM.

If you suspect that unauthorized debits are being taken from your account via Direct Debit, I would recommend that you remind yourself of the Direct Debit Guarantee and inform your bank of the situation.
You would need to count the number of debits taken to be sure you have paid all 12 or 24 debits depending on the length of the contract, if you are sure of this, you can give your bank all required details (e.g. start and end dates of contract, and account details minus security details) and request your bank directly contacts the service provider to refund the unauthorized payments (you should give the date and approx. time of the call of cancellation).
If you have not kept bank statements going sufficiently far back, you may be able to convince the bank to check for you without paying to receive back statements. Your mileage may vary. Good luck! 😀
