My old iPhone 6 is locked to EE, when I started the unlock process with EE, they said it was listed as lost or stolen incorrectly and they refused to assist me. The phone has always belonged to myself and has never been lost or stolen, I stopped using it because I bought a new one and transferred my number.
Is there anything I do about this, it’s a perfectly good phone, my husbands iPhone broke, he has Alzheimer’s and can’t use any other type of phone and can’t justify or afford another one.
Any ideas?

Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG?
