Can't seem to add data to gift, on an unlimited data contract

Bill4rest

I am on an unlimited data plan, but the data I can 'gift' has run out, because I've moved house and currently have no Internet, so have been Hotspot ting for work and TV.

But I cannot seem to buy additional data to gift. On my add ons section it is not an option, I guess because on the system I have 'unlimited data'?

Morning @Bill4rest

Thanks for coming to the community.

Are you data gifting to another number on your account or using your phone to tether other devices to your phones hotspot?

If you’re on a unlimited plan you can gift up to 100GB of data or 120GB if you’re on a 5G smart handset plan, this doesn't stop you being able to tether after you have used the giftable allowance.

Please see our How do Unlimited Plans work? Help page, for more information 🙂

Leanne.

Once you've used by any means the 1st 100GB (or 120GB if on a 5G plan) of your data for the month you can no longer gift any more data to the other nos. on your a/c & there is no add-on to allow you additional data for gifting.
