Can’t connect new laptop

  • Have just got a MacBook Air and it will not connect to the router. It is switching between WiFi on and “Looking for networks”. There is a list of connection options below and three of them have strong signal. I am in the same room as the router. Have put in the WiFi code (several times) but it is asking for a WPA2 password? What is this please and where do I find it?! Have tried switching everything off and on again. It’s driving me mad!

Which router?

The words "password", "passcode", "key" are all used interchangeably for the code needed to validate the WiFi network SSID.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
