Can i sign for my partners package at my house buy we don't have the same sir na

Hi my partner has got me a new phone for Xmas, on contract...in his name but at my address. 

The problem im having is he doesn't have any proof of id but I do...am I ok to sign for it for him even though we don't have the same surname? 

He will be here with me when the package arrives.

Yes. As I’ve signed for a friends order that she got delivered to mine and she wasn’t here. Driver never even asked for photo ID just took a picture of the delivery in an open doorway as proof of delivery.
