Mobile Router register on MY EE

Rotodude
Visitor

Hi

I have a mobile router and no landline. I can’t register to MY EE. I do not have an EE mobile phone currently.

I’ve tried the phone number for the SIM in the router. I have to observe that menus don’t seem to cover mobile routers or what other heading to use if that is the way.

Hi @Rotodude ,

If the SIM is activated and functional, it will have a number that can usually be found in the router management pages.

Alternatively, the SIM can be moved to another device to access the number as advised below. Most routers also allow the sending and receiving of text messages.

I've never used a pure data SIM so those could be a little different. Good luck!

@Rotodude : You'll see its mobile no. by looking at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi. You register it to your MyEE as a mobile device.
