We have a number on a business account that was previously allocated to an employee. This employee left the business and a new employee has been allocated this number. Prior to handing over the handset, we did a full factory reset on the phone.
When the new employee rings anybody, even people who had no contact with the original user, the original users name comes up.
Any ideas on how to either change the name, or even to make it so that the name doesnt show at all, or is dictated by the contacts list in the recipients phone ?

If the recipient has saved the old employees name in their contacts then the old persons name will show up.
Try ringing a phone which doesn't have the number saved.
