Business partner not paying bills

SeniorI
Visitor

Hello all, hope all is well. I’m in a pickle, I previously set up a business with someone who I thought was legitimate. Long story short we decided to get a business contract for day to day and so we don’t mix business with pleasure. Long story short we had a falling out and I removed my self from the company I help built how ever now his not trying to pay the bills. I paid his last month and now we’re two months behind. I’ve given a promise to pay and I’ve messaged him with regards the phone. When we set up the account for security reasons I linked my name to his address. I’m happy to keep my contract for my phone how ever I don’t know about my ex business partner. I’m trying to better my self and this is the last thing I want to have on my plate. EE has his name and post code, the account is linked to his business. If his not willing to take responsibility, hand back the phone and sim. What can I do? I feel like a mug tbh

That's between you, him, your solicitors & the credit agencies. Not much EE can do.
