@barbs0007 : Don't! You need both!
The 1571 Voicemail service will only pick up unanswered calls which are not 1st picked up by your own answerphone. It should only be recording calls made to you when you are already engaged on phone with a call. In which case your own answerphone is unable to take the call & you would want 1571 to take it. I have both & it works very well.
It works like this when I don't take the incoming call:
- If I'm out or otherwise can't pick up the phone, my own answerphone takes the call.
- If I'm already on the phone with another call, 1571 takes the call.
So you see that it's one or the other, not both.
