Hi there,
I moved out of UK, to Spain, and customer service advised that I could keep my UK number and just change the address details. I have already done so with the bank. However in EE account it doesn't give the option for addressing abroad. What would be the correct procedure?
Thanks

Hi @Andrea85
EE is a UK network provider, and accounts are intended for customers who are primarily resident in the UK - you cannot have an EE pay-monthly account registered to a non-UK billing address.
You should also be aware of EE's "stable links policy" where roaming is concerned. The full policy is detailed towards the bottom of pay-monthly roaming T&C , but the headline is that you need to be in the UK for 2months out of every 4.

Thanks for your response. However this is in clear contrast with what EE customer service advised on multiple occasions before leaving the UK. They said that it was only a matter to update address details. I wonder how EE agents can be so ignorant about their own service. Very disappointing.

@Andrea85 , you can live in another country and have bank accounts from different countries, but not when it comes to networks, they have to have the UK address, or if from another country, the country from where the network is. Not sure why you were given the wrong information, unless customer service thought you wanted to change your address to another UK address and there was a miscommunication somewhere.
