Has anyone else used this type of extender with their EE smart hub?  I have connected it but am getting "connected no internet" on my android and phone.  Is it incompatible?

Hi @rjhinde,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Are you only having this issue with your Android phone or all connected devices?

James

All connected devices - or rather all devices that have attempted to connect which include:

- an iphone

- an android phone

- an android tablet

- an ipad

- a Dell laptop

Doesn't work with any of them

Hi @rjhinde,

Have you set up the extenders as shown in this video?

James

Yes

I have tried the WPS route and then done a factory reset and tried with the non WPS route.

The latter route appeared to work in that it is shown as an available wifi network and is shown as connected to the hub on the hub manager, but there is no internet connection on any of the devices once logged into the wifi via the extender

Hi @rjhinde,

Is everything still working when connected directly to the Smart Hub?

Have you tried rebooting your Smart Hub and reconnecting?

James

Yes, the smart hub works fine with everything - we just want access in the kitchen!

I will try logging the smart hub off and on again when everyone has logged off

Thanks @rjhinde

Please keep us updated.

James

Restarting the home hub hasn't helped.  I will try calling the BT product helpine
