BEING CHARGED WRONGFULLY

I took out an upgrade on my business account before the end of 2019 in Harrow St Annes branch, London, and was offered 2 watches instead of a discount. I was also advised in store when I wanted to cancel my sim only  card that they would reduce from £14 to £7.

As I tend to overlook and was checking up on my accounts, I realised that EE have been charging me £20 per month on each watch and charging me on an extra sim aswell!!!

I rang up EE and they said I had to go into store which I was quite uncomfortable about as the Corona Virus had kicked in.

When I ring up they say they are only taking calls from vulnerable customers and now the stores are shut aswell!!!

I want this resolved asap!

@zed110   If you mean the watch contracts will reduce in price they will not as they are contracts at a price that is for the length of the contracts for them devices.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
I was told that I would get 2 free watches... nothing about a contract!

You said in your original post. You tend to overlook.

Did you read the contracts before signing?

Did you pay the £249 the watches cost?

You may have the watches free but the airtime needs paying for.

This is a prime example of why people need to stop thinking shiny new devices and just signing without reading the contract put in front of you.

If the stores were open when you initially brought this up to your attention this should have been done at store level but you chose not to go.

Stores have now been shut for weeks and you are only just bringing this up again now.

@zed110   You did get 2 free watch’s as there wasn’t an upfront payment required.  There is a contract to allow these watch to receive a data connection though and that’s what the payment is required for.
