Asked to call a 0800 number after a week since I have placed my order

Hello. Help please. I have placed my order for an upgrade and after a week of waiting I received an email from EE saying to call an 0800 number that doesn't go through/gets disconnected. Surely if you have something to clarify, you would call me instead of me trying countless times to get through? Still waiting for my phone to arrive though, but don't want to wait another 2 weeks to be told that "we've been waiting for your call to clarify  xyz" . That 0800 number doesn't work.

Thanks for info. I am aware that nobody (users) on here will call me:). However, I was hoping to understand why EE would ask me to call on a number that doesn't go through, gets disconnected and is impossible to get through with the call on that given number. Maybe you can try helping, by dialling 08000790531 and see what you get...could be my phone or how on earth cannot call on this given number??? Not cool from someone who does mobile network for a business:)...at least a working like could be provided...4 days later on this debate, still the same issue with "call failed" message each time I am trying to make this call. Thanks a lot.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi...it's a phone number... it's 08000790531. Cuts off or doesn't go through. Weird.

Hi @SimonaDin

Thanks for coming to the community.

This is an EE number and should connect you to our sales team, could you try this again and hold on past the IVR message, do you get connected?

Thanks.

Leanne.

Hello, thanks for messaging. Could not get through at all, I have been calling for 3 days now, constantly (as I really need my new ordered phone asap). Really annoying, as you can imagine. Can anyone contact me please if there are any issues with my order/upgrade ...or can an email conversation can take place in order to clarify whatever is to be clarified?? I have been a customer since 2014, should not be much left anyway to clarify after all this time:). Thanks a lot. Simona

No one on this user discussion forum will call you. EE does not provide email contact.

EE asked you to call them. You should do so if you want your order to be progressed. That no. is an EE no. & it works. You could also try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2, option 4) .
