Hi there our sons phone has been hit with charges of £239.79 and when we contacted ee we got told to get in touch with the third party companies who are apple and Microsoft as our son has no idea and there’s no purchase history on the Microsoft email or apple purchases. However apple are saying they can’t link it to his number but can’t tell us who it is linked to under data protection and we are awaiting on Microsoft coming back to us now we see there’s been lots of this in the past we just don’t know where to go from here and we have just checked the account and there’s another £200 of charges coming

@Laianne_83 If Apple can not link it to his number how is he being billed for it from Apple. You need to get Apple to remove the charge because if they can not link it how can they charge you for it.
I highly recommend you change your Apple/Microsoft/EE account passwords and remove all phone billing for purchases at this time.

Hi @Laianne_83
Welcome to the community.
I hope you're well and having a nice day, other than this issue of course.
I know how important it is to stay on top of bills, any unexpected charges can put a huge spanner in the works.
If you jump onto our Charges To Bill page you can enter the number or use the company or service name listed on the charges. This may give you an idea about where the charges are coming from.
Thanks.
Chris.

Thanks for the response
We have spoken with Apple and with Microsoft who wouldn’t give very much info.
Apple basically told me nothing was registered against the phone number or the iCloud then told me even with the other numbers on my account it wasn’t from any of them.
I don’t have a Microsoft account either.
I will be contacting them both today yet again but I do believe I will be told the same again.
If I don’t get any satisfaction with them I’m opening a dispute up.
Again I don’t know if I’ll get any where with them.
If not I will not hesitate to escalate this even further if this is what I need to do

@Laianne_83 If you're sure that that the charges are for them then they should be able to explain them.
Please let me know when you speak to them later today.
Thanks.
Chris.

Hi @Laianne_83
As the charges were on your phone bill originally then they will be credited back to your account. You can then choose to use them for future bills, or have the money transferred to your bank account.
Thanks
Chris
