Has anyone had movement on their watch order yet? I ordered just after 1pm on the pre order day but still is sitting at “awaiting confirmation” SS graphite 45mm

I was waiting for mine aswell...
ordered steel case graphite 45mm on last friday, I paid early upfront £54.
on web said dispatch within 4 days (means delivery today)
bullsh... no watch...
I called ee they said... middle of november lol...
I just go to Apple ask for finance and purchased alluminium 45mm without problems...
cheaper and quicker...
If they dont care about us why I should wait ???
I cancel my order and save £54 on upfront plus 2y contract.
do the same. Try go to Apple and ask 😄

I’ve cancelled my EE order now as the Apple store here in Belfast had the silver steel in stock for pick up today with the sports loop. Excited to pick it up!

Good morning all, I spoke with EE this morning and they’re saying that all Series 7 watches are showing a 21 day wait time 😞 it seems like Argos, Currys, John Lewis and Apple are all out of stock too. I think we are simply stuck on the wait train at the minute 😭

I’ve preordered my one in Saturday Gold SS they said can take up to 28 days which is fine lol. Today I got a random message from EE saying my order is on track whatever that means. 😂

Your order is confirmed but we’re awaiting your expected delivery date. This is while we wait for delivery confirmation from the manufacturer. We’ll be in touch soon with an update on your order.

@Chris_B - So when I ordered my watch at 1.07 why did the telesales person say ‘100% guaranteed you’ll get it on launch day’, and referred to what she said was a live stock report showing 7000 to allocate of which I ordered within that allocation?
If they can’t guarantee then say so rather than trying to push a hard sell.

I don't recall the woman I spoke to (who was lovely) being so categorical when I asked the question of delivery on more than one occasion, or moreover what she actually said, but yes I ended the call thinking that in no uncertain terms I should be getting the watch last Friday. It felt confirmed to the extent that my wife was miffed with me, because she'd gone through Apple and would have to wait until November (she wasn't ordering at bang on 1pm).
We're only talking about a few days, but as I said in my first post on Friday, it's about the expectation gap. Tell me if there's a problem. It's frustrating that some outlets had them to arrive next day or to pick up the same day!
I've checked today and the last update was 15th to say my order was on track, too. LOL!!
