Apple Watch not working for new customers

Only just joined EE. Got my iPhone 13 pro max and Apple Watch on Friday. Can’t set up Moblie data on watch all I get is Your EE account is not eligible to enable mobile data on your Apple Watch.

Phoned 150 to be told after running though options, that there is a problem with Apple watches and new customers. Is there any idea how long it will take to sort out.

Not sure, but it’s a problem for previous Apple Watch users whose eSIM was deleted, too.

Did our Customer Care team if they would be back in touch with you about this?

 

They would be the best team to speak to about a timescale in this.

They have said that they can’t give a time scale and hoped it would be “soon” and to call back in a week if still not sorted.

Mine is now working and it looks like whatever the problem was it is now sorted
