Apple Music on Android Devices

I've got the Apple Music smart add-on, which is working, but have noticed on android devices it does not like downloading songs using wifi and prefers to uses mobile data.

If I set the app to use wifi, it may download one or two songs maximum and then nothing unless you force close the app or stop and restart the downloads, but if I'm on mobile data it doesn't seem to have this issue and happily downloads the tracks.

Has anyone else noticed this, if they are using android devices.

Hi @walkerx.

Is your phone staying connected to WiFi when this happens?

If you change it to WiFi only do more songs download?

@Jon_K yes, phone is connected to wifi without issues, at same time I can do a speedtest and connection is fine at over 250Mbps, other apps working fine, browser working on phone.

Connect using my tablet it's fine, only on mobile get the issue, so wondering if other had same problem as seem to be a few complaining about it on play store

Thanks @walkerx.

I haven't heard of this one before.

Do the reviews in PlayStore give any tips on how to fix this?

Jon

@walkerx   It’ll be an apple app issue. Try reporting it back to Apple.

based on the reviews it does seem to be their issue, and has been ongoing for a while but worse since the latest update
