Please help! Trying to use the app to connect to my phone but its asking me to plug the yellow lead in, I don't have a box to plug into. So, my question is, can the app control the WiFi access/ connection like my old BT did?

The EE Home app works only with EE's fixed BB Smart Hub & Smart Router routers. It will not work with any other routers. It is not intended for mobile routers.

Which app are you referring to? Which EE router do you have?
What WiFi access/ connection did the old BT app (?) control when you don't have some "box"?

Thanks for the reply. On the play store there is an ee home app, so you can control the WiFi. Its the 4g box (white I that makes a difference) with a sim, no need to wire in.

Hi @James236
Welcome to the community.
The EE Home app is for fixed line broadband help. What is it that you're trying to control?
