App error and login

Am unable to login to the app.

 

Initially it came  up with Opps something went wrong, A4.59.1 code.

 

Now app doesn't recognise my email or password.

 

Yes I have tried redownloading the app,

No I won't reset the password as it works fine for the site and as its the only way I can get into my account I'm loathe change it.

 

Please assist

What kind of phone do you have? Is your software completely up to date?

I have exactly the same problem. I have an iPhone 6s if that’s any help. I wouldn’t mind betting that many more people are experiencing this. Let me know if it comes back!

I have an iPhone X can’t log into my app either. Same issues as mentioned

I have a one+ 5t and am getting the same error since updating the app.

Yes software, app and phone are all up to date.

Phone is a P20 pro.

 

Looking at the play store it seems to be a common occurance with the app.

Hi Chris,

 

Yes I can log in from the Web portal. 

I stated this in my first message, hence not wanting to change my password. 

 

Problem has been picked up in the last 2 days or so, but that's only the last time I checked my account through the app. 

 

Problem may of been there longer.

OK, thanks @Leethesparky. You mentioned it working on the site, but I didn't know if you meant on this device or another one. Just checking. 🙂

 

I'd recommend continuing to log in through the phone browser whilst we look into this.

 

If anyone is having problems doing that, or wants to discuss this further, I'd recommend speaking to our technical support team.

Andy W. From the twitter EE support managed to fix the issue this morning. 

Looked to be an account authorisation EE's end. 

Seems to be currently stable.
