Android phone. emails, texts stopped working. Problem with Google?

Android phone. emails, texts & some apps suddenly stopped working. Looks like a possible problem with Google. Tried phoning EE but keep getting cut off. How do I resolve?

@Swede1  It’s a Google issue that you can fix yourself.  EE can not help with this.

That's exactly what's happened to my phone. I've tried to switch it on and off, turned the WiFi off and on and still the same issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I can't seem to find uninstall for Android system webview , if I press uninstall app will that mess up my phone?

That's correct. I used the link Chris B supplied and follow the steps. Under your apps you will need to uninstall 1 app (can't remember the full name but it's on the link) once you've done this all your apps that weren't working will work aswell as Google. Hope this helps.
