Add to plan device on additional line

I know you can add 3 accessories onto your plan at any one time, but I was wondering if that’s 3 for each line you have - or just 3 overall. For example if I have 3 add to plan accessories already on my 1st original plan, can a further 3 accessories be added to my second additional line? Thanks
