OK one can easily top up credit in several ways, EE will easily take your money, but it seems impossible to add data on if the mobile wifi router is not with you & you cannot access EE wifi. Is the only way to telephone EE every time? It seems ridiculous one can log on etc etc but not add on data unless connected to EE broadband or wifi. Any help would be appreciated, many thanks

Hi Chris B, many thanks for replying, the scenario is my mobile wifi router is away with my wife, I'm at home on the home broadband which isn't EE. So I can fully log into my EE account using the App or website, see the used data, top up £ credit, all fine.
However when I go to add data unless I'm on an EE wifi it will not let me do this, it says disconnect your wifi and reconnect with EE. This I don't have as it's in a different location.
Is there any way to add data to an EE number without being on EE wifi/broadband. Everything seem to be OK.
Look forward to hearing a way round this, again many thanks
