4gee Wifi Sim not working

I recently upgraded to a new 4gee Mini after 5 years with an Osprey which always worked brilliantly.  I got the new SIM and white box and eagerly tried to connect by ethernet.  No joy and no signal to the SIM.  I tried everything and even took the SIM out and tried it in my old Osprey box - exactly the same result.  I have allocated the PIN to the SIM - gone through the initialisation only for the last stage to say 'unsuccessful'.  I work for local government co-ordinating Covid-19 response and have set up an office in an outside building using EE.  Very very upset that the new SIM does not activate.

From the sounds of your post, you've been trying to use a SIM that was supplied with your new device, and it's not working.

 

Does your existing SIM still work in your previous device? And if so, are you able to try it in the new one?
