Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or the admin pwd found under the battery cover. Then on the WiFi Settings tab change the WiFi to:
Security = WPA2 PSK
if it's not already, as it should be.

iPhone warns that security is weak on WPA2 also. However I have the old white square 4G Home Router and the security settings available are "Disable", WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA/WPA2. WPA2 PSK is not shown as available. Any suggestions? Software is up to date.

Hi @ChrisJD1
Thanks for posting.
Does the advice in this post help with the router that you have?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

Thanks Leanne,
I changed the encryption from "Automatic" to AES and the iPhone no longer warns of weak security, but other programmes are having problems connecting with the internet. I've gone back to factory settings for the moment.
Thank you.
Chris

AES is secure; lack of it isn't!
Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.
