Connecting Kindle Paperwhite to TP-Link router

Help!

We have recently returned to EE (SIM card in TP-Link Archer MR600 router) and find that since fitting a new EE SIM card in router neither wife nor I can connect our Kindle Paperwhite's to the routers wi-fi. We're upto date on all software/firmware on Kindles and router. We never had a problem connecting with our original EE Sim 18 months ago, nor with a Vodafone sim in recent months.

I have an iPhone with O2 sim and can use this as a 'hot-spot' and can connect Kindles via this but it's a bit of a pain when we have wi-fi from the router through the home.

Does anyone have a simple solution please?

You should be connecting the Kindle to the 2.4 GHz WiFi SSID. The SIM can't have anything to do with the WiFi connection.
