I have purchased this device today but the signal is still red when it's perfectly fine on my other devices etc what do I need to do to make this work?

Are your other Devices on the EE Network, if so swap the Sims and test, go from there and report back.
Did you get this MiFi from EE direct or A N Other.

Hi I purchased it from the EE Shop.
I think I need to get the one time pin for it. When I tried earlier and used the phone number on the sim which is not in a phone but in the wifi mini device which obviously isn't able to tell me the pin if it was sent.

Mobile routers usually can do texts (SMS) if that's what you are referring to.
