Good Evening,
I recently have a 4GEE router installed (the white one), it works great no issues until about 2100hrs and then it just starts either turning off the WiFi itself or having leaving the blue WiFi light on and kicking off all the devices and no devices being able to see the WiFi network.
In either case the device has to be restarted for it to work again.
Any comments appreciated or better still solutions.
Regards,

Hi @Ramone0012.
Welcome to the community.
Does this happen at the same time every night?
Have you tried performing a pin reset on the router?

A user with a similar issue
Mine isn't time bound at all. just does the same thing but only when VPN's are in use.
Is there a sec setting that needs to be changed?
Thanks

Hi @Siherber40.
Welcome to the community.
What kind of VPN are you using?
Do you have any issues without VPN?

Hi Jon,
Its a Cisco Any connect client. I don't have any issues when i use a non VPN device. Its directly changed when I've started using the VPN software.

Thanks @Siberber40.
Have you used this VPN service on another network before?
Have you tried restarting the router?

The issue is the router kicks off all connections entirely and all devices need to re-connect. for about 20 seconds the passwords isn't recognised at all then its all back to normal. For 20 mins or so.
Just seems like the wifi drivers are re-booting.

Hi Jon, it does work when I tether to a mobile using Vodafone.
It doesn't drop the connection.

Thanks @Siherber40.
Are you able to get in touch with the VPN provider and ask if it will be compatible with IPV6?
This could be causing the issue.

I have something similar - it happens a few times per day - typically when it is least convenient!
The Router looks fine with all expected icons blue but all connected devices drop the internet connection. They all show connected to the wi-fi but you can no longer access any internet services. This happens to Apple and Samsung phones, IMacs, Sky-Q box, laptops and besktop computers.
The only option is to power off the router and then on again - not great when you are in a video conference for work...
Is there anything I can do to make it more stable?
On a separate note I have two bars on the signal reception of my router - is it possible / worthwhile to get the aerials fitted to it to improve reception?
