30 day monthly plan + Apple Watch??

Yuuyake

I'm on a 30-Day SIM 20GB monthly plan and wanted to add my Apple Watch (bought from Apple) to it. The app during setup says it's not possible.

Called the cust service and they said it's because I'm not on a 12/24 month plan and that's required as the Apple Watch additional plan is also a 24 month plan?? Is that true? Sounds weird as other posts here said that if you're adding a watch bought from a 3rd party the only option is a 30-day rolling plan?

I'm assuming you are trying to activate the cellular add on plan/feature for the Apple Watch?

The below are needed:

The iPhone needs to be on either a pay monthly contract.

Or a 12 month (or longer) sim only contract.

Pay as you go or 30 day sim only contracts, can not be used with the cellular add on for the Apple Watch.

When adding the cellular add on for the Apple Watch (when the Apple Watch has been purchased from elsewhere) the cellular add on is a rolling 30 day contract.
